Brian Haroldson

Brian is a leader in Jones Hall’s affordable housing and private activity bond practice. He serves as bond counsel on dozens of affordable housing financings each year, with a practice concentrated on:
Tax-exempt bonds for 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments
501(c)(3) bonds for nonprofit borrowers
Other qualified private activity bonds
Brian also has experience representing issuers and underwriters in:
Lease revenue bonds
Enterprise revenue bonds, including water and wastewater revenue financings
Mello-Roos community facilities district special tax bonds
He represents cities, counties, housing authorities, and other public agencies throughout California, as well as national and regional investment banking firms.
Prior to joining Jones Hall in 2017, Brian was an associate at law firms in San Francisco and New York, where he represented borrowers and underwriters in corporate bond and loan transactions.
In his free time, Brian enjoys hiking and camping.
